Really lovely experience. Landlady is exceptional. Staff member was excremely accommodating. Food was exactly what we were hoping for. fantastic traditional british pub grub.This establishment ticks all the boxes for a village friendly pub with excellent quality food and the wine selection is also the best i’ve experienced in a while.Happy new year. This place is an absolute gem! A really old school, non-chain pub with hearty, high quality and excellently presented food.We had an antipasti board, some melt-in-your-mouth beef cheek, and a delicious afogato with lotus ice cream and lots of garnish! Everything was delicious, and for the price that you would pay in numerous nearby chains with far inferior quality.A wonderfully pretty, warm and cosy pub, with a buzzing atmosphere for dining.
