From when we entered, the staff were relatively friendly and welcoming. We decided to dine in and it was very good value for money: when eating in, you get access to free Heinz condiments like tartar sauce and ketchup not to mention a clean toilet in a clean, tidy seating area. Chips where soggy on the outside and hard on the inside, not sure how you do that and cod was dry with a tasteless batter. Goodies had a bad patch a few years ago but I thought they had turned a corner. Very disappointed.

Staff really friendly and food was served nice and hot, fresh and didn't wait long at all. Lively big seating area to eat whilst it was raining outside. Def worth going for a decent fish and chips.
