Bar • “Wow! What a welcome! Popped in with my Dad for a cuppa this morning. Really charming staff. Enjoyed the Autumn sunshine in the garden while we were waiting for our car to be MOT'd nearby. Couldn't fault anything about the visit. Now planning to go back for lunch when we have a bit more time. Our interaction with the staff was absolutely everything it should have been and more. Two VERY happy customers!Parking: Loads of parking space.”
Bar • “Sunday Roast… Wow what a meal, service was also fantastic and very friendly, pub was a little chilly but that aside the visit was 1st class will definitely be back for more!”
Bar • “Food tasted great and was hot to the table. I think I'd rather my Sunday roast wasn't in a pile on the plate for presentation, but thats my own opinion. Great price too. We coined our apple pie with custard, 'custard gate' (in that we needed one!) as the plate was square and flat; I'd rather a bowl. Unfortunately the Cappuccinos we ordered were more like hot milk which was a disappointing end to a lovely meal and a great venue.”
Bar • “Decent 'Spoons with nice interior and efficient service. In the winter there's a log fire that is lit which is a nice touch. Like most Wetherspoons, the toilets are in the next town after a 40 minute walk.”
“Table of 5.All had a Sunday Roast. Big portion and delicious.The homemade sticky toffee pudding was the best any of us have ever tasted. As light as a feather. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: I had the vegetarian roast..all.home made and home cooked. Very tasty.Parking: Good parking at rear of building”
