Went for Sunday lunch and was not disappointed. As we entered the pub staff were on the ball straight away, no waiting around. We were shown to our table in the restaurant and asked if we had any food allergies, then sat down to look at menu. All staff very attentive and knowledgeable . We both had the Sunday roast and a side of cauliflower cheese which was delicious, the roast as well was delicious. We were at The Bird in Hand for a Celebration of Life following my mum's funeral. We were served a hot & cold buffet with free-flowing coffee, tea, and bar drinks. There were about 60 guests, many of whom commented on how delicious the food was, and that the service was second-to-none. I'm so grateful to Donna, Brandon, and the entire team for making us all feel so welcome at such a difficult time.

We had a lovely meal here in-between Christmas and the new year. Service was good, we were directed to a table of our choice and provided with meals.We ordered hot drinks and chose a haddock goujon sandwich and chunky chips plus a burgerMeals were delivered quickly and piping hot.Food was delicious and we really enjoyed our visit here
