Went after visiting a friend with my daughter. I had duck leg with a bean, sausage and bacon stew and kale. OMG, it was amazing, a huge portion, gave me plastic take out box, meal enough for brunch the next day. Delicious. My daughter had gnocchi with a blue cheese and garlic sauce, also delicious. Two visits in a week for family reasons. Both large gatherings, one a sit down meal from the menu and the other a buffet. Both excellent. Prices a little high but worth an occasional trip for sure.

Pleased to enjoy a special dinner here on a Monday night. Good menu choice and the specials board had some lovely extra options. All four starters and mains were excellent. The chicken with courgette fritter off the specials was particularly good. All the cricket memorabilia was interesting as was the history of the Hambledon Cricket Club across the road.
