The George Inn is a lovely little hotel close to Highclere Castle, highly recommended by visitors. The rooms are of excellent quality, and the pub and restaurant are located in a beautiful setting with a very friendly and attentive staff. The food is generally tasty, with reasonable prices, and the establishment offers ample seating both inside and outside. While the Sunday lunch was only okay, with some dishes below expectations, the overall dining experience is described as really excellent, with professional and friendly service.
