Sharp tone and blunt words from the server upon arrival, wide selection of chocolate but nothing exclusively dark, ice cream waffle was soft, chocolates turned out to be pretty drab.
I did see signs of life in there though, some really nice support and conversation to less able local residents and a pretty clean and tidy shop.

Stumbled across this cafe when exploring Winchester. The menu is great! The chocolate gifts were a great range of unique items. Also have a soft scoop ice cream area. Tap water available to help your self, cups of crayons and paper for the kids to entertain themselves. We had a chocolate biscuit slice which was lovely, a mocha and a little chocolate on the side which was very good! A great toastie with side salad, fresh and delicious. And a warm indulgent dark choc chip scone with caramel sauce and cream, which was easily up there as the best scone ive ever had! Woudl return just for that!

They have a sign that says they close at 5pm, yet when we got here at 4:50, they had already posted their Closed sign and shut the door to customers. Don't set expectations you won't keep.

We visited this store with my partner and friends. Both the drinks (hot chocolate and coffee) as well as the pastries were delicious, and Viola was super kind! We also loved the chocolate bar we picked up. Will return soon.

I've been coming quite alot on breaks. Very welcoming. Viola is always greeting me with a smile. Cakes are good and the little chocolates AMAZING. I also bought a vegan dairy free HUGE egg for my son. He was well impressed. Staff are great. Always smiling which makes me wonder what they put in there chocolates. ?
Beautiful place, very neat and tastefully decorated. Everything is amazing and very tasty! It has a variety of hot or cold drinks. good service. but it is a bit small, so if you want to sit you have to be patient. It is a good choice for dessert and a drink next to the city center.

I've heard a lot about this place and decided to visit. The hot chocolate was fine but the staff behavior was rude and she was bit racist as well. Won't be coming back again.

Used to be great..the hot chocolate tasted as it should 'chocolate'. Been a handful of times over the last year and have tried asking for them to make it less milky to see if the end result improves..nope, just hot milk, no indulgent taste to it at all and I always go for the 70% Madagascan so it should be darker and stronger! It seems they're 'cutting their chocolate corners' and substituting it for hot milk..not nice at all, considering you pay almost £4 per takeaway cup, I won't be returning again!
