I went into The South Downs Social today with my mum and some Rock Choir friends. I was performing nearby with Rock Choir and in between performing we headed to The South Downs Social for some lunch. As the Christmas Market in currently on in Winchester it was heaving and the cafe was rammed. But, we found a table without much waiting and looked at the menu to choose what to have. This place has such an amazing atmosphere ! I will definitely come back here to study or meet up with friends. I saw people of all age demographics socialising and enjoying the space. Disclosure - I am not a cycling fan and I don’t like biking - but you don’t have to be a cycling fanatic to enjoy the space and the food.

Cycling themed cafe with a casual feel. Great poached eggs, so good we came for both our days in Winchester! Very nice coffee and great service/staff. Also seemed to be very children and dog friendly. Recommend as somewhere a bit different for breakfast.
