We visited on the 30th December. Although it was busy they were able to accommodate 2 of us for a lunch without a booking . I had not realised there was a Rick Stein outside of Cornwall so was excited to try. The food and service were excellent and although the festive menu looked good I opted for the fish and chips which were lovely. We visit Winchester most years for the Christmas market and always make a visit to Rick Stein’s. The food is just amazing and has a well priced festive menu. Fresh fish of excellent quality. The staff are so helpful and friendly.

We were a bit hesitant as we read Nick Stein was heading several restaurants....A very nice surprise : fresh and quality products, creative and well inspired cooking, tasty an sane. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices.Definitely a place to recommend. We wish we had one in Paris.
