Really lovely food, and friendly efficient service. The menu is nicely varied, with a few really nice signature dishes that you may not have come across elsewhere. Not somewhere for a cheap meal, but worth the price for the occasional treat.

We recently dined at this curry restaurant and was thoroughly impressed. The menu offered a vast array of flavors, and the service was prompt and attentive. The restaurant itself was warm and inviting, enhancing the overall dining experience.Food was very tasty. While it was a fantastic meal, I reserve 5 stars for absolute perfection.Nevertheless, I highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful curry experience.

Great variety of alternative dishes to try. Give it a try if visiting the area. We did and really enjoyed our meal!

Gandhi is as good as you will get anywhere, including London. The food is delicious and the service is also great with numerous serving staff and an attentive manager. The only thing stopping a 5 for service was that it took a long time to pay the bill.

By far my favourite Indian restaurant in Winchester and surrounding areas.Staff is always swift and friendly, all the food is just very good. The lamb cutlets for starters are epic. They curries are not the spiciest. I think suitable for most people, but If you like them really hot you’ll end up asking for them ‘extra spicy’.Can’t wait to be there again.

Last visit was very disappointing after serving supposedly chicken (dry and tough) dhansak with no lentils! They acknowledged the wrong dish was served (probably hoping you don’t realise) So thought we’d give the benefit of the doubt, maybe an off night we said, and try again. Big mistake! Frozen crab cakes, tough lamb, stale poppadoms. Proprietor more concerned with whisking frozen food away and uttering he won’t be charging for the frozen food, really, how kind! His main concern seemed to be our slowness of drinking his most expensive bottle of white on the menu as he tried to refill our glasses to the top. Run by a greedy man with a bums on seats mantra, offering below par Indian style slop. An insult for us gullible fools who venture in looking for decent Indian cuisine.

Overall was average, had better Indian food before. Nothing impressive or special. Plenty of vegetarian options which is good.

Had a meal here with my hubby on a Saturday night the food was lovely, staff ok but small portions served and with my love of Indian food in many Indian restaurants was overpriced, sorry I would not return or recommend .
