Disappointing trip. Took my daughter for her 9th birthday having been many times before. Penguins were closed, reptile house still closed, many empty exhibits. Didn't see red pandas, sloth, leopards and many more. I accept that zoo's can't make animals be out, but you do expect to see animals at a zoo. Really expensive for what we saw. Saving grace were the rhinos, tiger and giraffes. On the day we went our children saw kids with face painting and posters for events at the hall....read full review
we had a brilliant day at the zoo. the Animals where looking good and they where better behaved than the staff at the Marwell Hotel. I think the babboons could run the hotel to a higher standard than them.

Although it's small, there are enough places to sit in or outside and have lunch or snacks.Good quality hot and cold foods, great options for vegan and vegetarian guests.Not too expensive either.
