Had a nice dinner at Prezzo this evening after visiting the Winchester Christmas market? . Very impressed with the attentive service, My posh pepperoni pizza was delicious, but my other half's pasta was disappointing because the chicken was poorly prepped with lots of gristle left on it. Apart from that, recommended.
Food, atmosphere, service was great all round. Only thing that spoilt it was the cutlery. The knives would struggle to cut butter. 5 of us had pizza and not one of us could cut it. We all had to resort to tearing our pizzas with our hands

A little disappointing. I tend to think of Prezzo, Zizzi and Ask as being pretty much the same. However, the choice at Prezzo seems worse, not so imaginative / modern, and poorer quality. Average of £16 for a main course (we chose lasagna, chicken burger, pizza & calzone). On the pricey side for basic dishes. Burger bun was not toasted and was actually chilled. Service was ok but nothing special. Not asked if we wanted more drinks.
