“Me and the wife have been scouring pubs in the area for years for a decent roast dinner. Some pubs come close but there's always something that let's them down, not this time.
The staff are fantastic, the food was just as good. Honestly the best roast dinner I can recall having in any pub. Well done team, keep it up!”

“I have just been for a meal with a friend for a catch up. The welcome and the atmosphere on arrival was fantastic, the staff were the right level of attentive and friendly and the food was perfect, not a single thing was at fault. The food tasted good, looked good and smelt good. Will definitely be back to visit again.”

“Great quirky pub, not many like this. All sorts of oddities and stuffed animals to keep you amused while you sup some great ales. We chose this over the Cathedral, much more interesting and free to enter! Like the Terminator I'll be back”

“The family love going here! The lemonade is AMAZING and the burgers are tasty, we usually stop here after a bike ride, you must go here for the freshest lemonades!
The chips are fresh and I recommend the cheesy chips, we have never had a problem here!
Parking: The queen inn has a parking lot right by their pub, it has some parking spaces and some outside. Also there is bike parking for roughly 4 bikes in the outside area”

“We had our bijou wedding (25 guests) across the street at All Saints Church and plumped for The Swan Inn as our reception venue (we lived in the area previously and loved it). It is a cosy and delightful place, a true ‘local’ with plenty of character. Annie and Stefan and their team truly made the dinner special, providing fresh flowers and nibbles in addition to scrummy food. Our guests were very well looked after! The back room/restaurant is absolutely perfect for an intimate ‘do. Many thanks!”
“the Guinness fries are just to die for! the food & service are amazing. justin was very knowledgeable on wines which I greatly appreciated highly recommend”
