We decided to stop and get some food as it was on our way out of Hereford, but honestly I wish we hadn't bothered. The chips were anaemic and soggy and the piece of fish I had was terrible - the fish inside was dried up around the edges and looked overcooked and the batter was greasy and so hard you could hardly bite it, which leads me to think it may have been reheated. Unfortunately I went to buy a nice 1 x cod and chip meal, also 1 x fishcake and large mushy peas, total price £16.10. The chips and fishcake were OK, but the mushy peas were sloppy and the supposedly cod was virtually non existent. Not a single good flake of fish, just tiny weany little bits that I had to search for?
