The Harewood End Inn
The Harewood End Inn, HerefordWe had a lovely couple of nights at the Harewood recently. We had an evening meal on the one night and two breakfasts and they were all great. What was especially important was that they were able to provide gluten free meals as my wife is a coeliac, and they did this really well, with no compromise on quality.
The room was clean and, considering the age of the builiding, they had what you needed, although a bit of an update to the decor woudln't go amiss. We had an issue with the light in our bathroom and Dan (?) did all he could to try to get it sorted while we were there, he succeeded, but to be honest if was a pretty dim light bulb that we ended up with, you couldn't really see much by it.
If I were to make a suggestion it would be to put some new carpet on the stairs up to the rooms, as the one that's there doesn't give a true reflection on the quality of the rest of the esthablishment, and doesn't leave a good impression.
Overall, however, a lovely stay, try the Harwood Inn rather than the usual Holiday Inns or Travel Lodges.

The New Inn, St Owen's Cross
St Owen's Cross, HerefordWhat a super pub. Lovely interior, beautiful garden (although too hot to sit out on the day we visited). Well prepared food and polite and helpful staff. Loses 1 point as both the restaurant and loos were not very accessible for my elderly companion.

The Tump Inn
Wormelow, HerefordWe asked if food being done the lady behind bar checked with kitchen as they were very quite she came back and said yes we ordere rib eye steaks, chips, and salad mushrooms onion rings it was presented nice and cooked perfectly we had beer and archers very nice polite people and staff would highly recommend .

New Harp Inn
Hoarwithy, HerefordBar staff & chef were really friendly. The place was nicely decorated & clean. We managed to just miss the busy time. Food was delicious & I wasn't able to finish mine, which is rare for me! Would definitely visit again.
