Small local pub that has recently been refurbished. Pleasant landlady and a compact but nice beer garden. Bit oflf history over and across from the pub make it a worthwhile detour. Didn't try the food but would do next

I went in to the pub for the first time today and it was lovely! Such a quaint pub, really traditional and charming. Beautifully decorated and clearly a lot of love has gone into the place. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, I always worry that a pub could be cliquey but it was far from it. Great menu, great service, great atmosphere. I’m hoping to go back and try the roast soon.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options
