Amazing for takeouts, only had one wrong order before and they gave us the wrong order for free, replaced it and gave us a drink as an apology.Great serviceKnocked one star off because the drink prices in the restaurant are far too expensive. £4.50 for a cola is a little extreme , but the food quality is good price and very tasty.

We have struggled since moving to find a good authentic Indian.Abbotts tandoori is an authentic restaurant serving freshly prepared food. This place did not disappoint!The starters were cooked fresh as was the curry. The bread was warm and the garlic naan had real flavour.The service was impeccable and friendly. There is no rushing they just want you to e joy the food and the environment.The staff make a real effort to accommodate any needs and will always ask questions to see how like your curry.Fab restaurant that we will continue to visit. Village Tandoori
12 High St, Abbots LangleyFirst time getting a takeaway from here as normally go to another curry house in the village that was recommended. I must say food came in good time and was very hot and plentiful and also got a free dish for purchasing £18 an over. We are very definitely going back, and I rang the man at the Village Tandoori to tell him how we enjoyed our meal

47 High St, Kings LangleySmall but brilliant! Christmas Eve , so super busy. Dogs and kids welcome and everyone else all crammed in. High stools for most seating, which was fine. Friendly staff, Christmas chocs on the tables and a decent pint. Loos clean and pleasant , plus provision of all the hygeine products a girl might need in an emergency on a night out, which is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

83 Langley Hill, Kings LangleyI went in to the pub for the first time today and it was lovely! Such a quaint pub, really traditional and charming. Beautifully decorated and clearly a lot of love has gone into the place. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, I always worry that a pub could be cliquey but it was far from it. Great menu, great service, great atmosphere. I’m hoping to go back and try the roast soon.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options

20 High St, Kings LangleyWith more than an hour to spare while in Kings Langley High Street, I popped into Dalling Deli. I ordered a hot chocolate and asked if they had a gluten free cake. Charlotte behind the counter offered a choice of three. Impressive! I chose the lemon drizzle which was delicious. The hot chocolate, first and last image, speaks for itself. It was past 5.30pm and clearing up time so I took my tray through to the adjoining wine shop/bar. I believe it stays open until 9pm. Several people were drinking wine and there was a relaxed, happy atmosphere. I didn't get the name of the young man behind the bar, but he was courteous and helpful to people who came to buy or sit. Charming staff, lovely ambience and a broad range of great products. Definately worth a visit if you're in the neighbourhood. I'll certainly be back.

Langley Rd, Abbots LangleyEverything I have ordered is cooked as I order . The chips are superb, and fish is always cooked as you ask for it.And they do a great selection of kebabs. I have no hesitation in recommending them. Cleanest chip shop I have ever seen, always spotless.Wheelchair accessibility: I don't use a wheelchair, but the paving outside is level with the entrance. No steps.

The Common, Chipperfield, Kings LangleyWent here following a recommendation & it didn’t disappoint, traditional country pub with amazing homemade food at incredibly affordable prices..Easter Sunday & a roast dinner choice of either large or small plate was less than £13 per person (smaller plates were cheaper too)…Great atmosphere, not rushed, booking is recommended for either large or small parties..Will definitely be going again soon..

Kitters Green, Abbots LangleyMy daughter and I called in at about 3.30pm last Sunday, and both of us chose the roast lamb. A bargain at £12.50! We opted to have the side of the day, pigs in blankets, and asked for extra roasties and extra gravy. Well, we were both starving... The meal, when it arrived, looked delicious, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Really generous sized meal, a lot of meat for a change, loads of fresh vegetables, and the gravy was to die for. All washed down with a nice glass of malbec. ? I definitely recommend the Royal Oak for a lovely meal.
