“Food was delicious, atmosphere was lovely and the service by Lotty was impeccable. We had three young kids with us and they were so accommodating with them and looked after them (and us) so well! Recommend!”

“Aweosme place to have a bit of breakfast. They've got this place working perfectly, cogs turn seamlessly and you can tell. Doesn't take time before you've got a menu, given sufficient time to choose, orders taken and delivered in the time you'd expect everytime. They know their audiences - Teamwork on another level!”

“It started so well, loverly and clean, and easy to check in. We booked a club room. To be honest, I was a little disappointed with the money we paid. I expected more. I have stayed in Premier Inn that seems better. Firstly, why is it Village Hotel at Watford? It was a bit of a drive to Harry Potter World it says a 20-minute drive with the traffic it's more than that. It's awkward for the M1. And we had problems with the lights in the bathroom we told reception and nothing was done it made things difficult ror my wife to get ready. The food wasn't that good . Toby Carvery was not far away by car it was difficult to get a dink at the bar. It seems the staff was more interested in doing other things instead of serving. But there was a nice blond lady who was nice and pleasant. On the plus side, a good pool has lots of gym bunny people posing funny to see the strut about. As for using this hotel again, to be honest, I'm not really sure if I was going to Harry Potter again or wanted to be closer to Watford .. no. If I was driving to or from the south, maybe.....Hope this helps someone”

“This shop is by far one of the best. All the staff are friendly, approachable, hardworking and helpful. Even when short staffed, they go above and beyond to help customers. True treasures to have employed, Greggs should be proud of them. Never had a bad meal from there, even JustEat orders are prepared with care and the staff write lovely notes on the bag. Some of the most kind and caring people I know. Plus, food is so tasty! I recommend the sausage rolls and tomato soup.”
