We had a lovely walk along the river and then went into the crown for lunch and a drink. Kirsty and her team made us feel very welcome. They invited us to warm ourselves by the fire. We ordered our drinks and steak sandwiches which were very tasty. It was a very enjoyable afternoon thanks to Kirsty and her team.
This pub have been amazing. We booked The Crown for our beloved Dads Funeral reception and their care, and attention to detail has been second to none. The Buffet they laid on was excellent and plentiful. They also laid on complementary Teas and Coffees (a lot of venues charge for this) and all The Staff were so amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them We as a family could not Praise them enough. It made a very sad day run smoothly..
