We walked in as a group of 5 on a late evening on a weekday, there was one other couple inside, and one person on a laptop doing accounting or something in the corner.I can only explain the decor as if we was living in soviet russia, also there was 0 atmosphere.We left before ordering and went elsewhere as we was all heavily depressed.Can’t comment on the food

Atmosphere was a bit flat. On a Saturday night there were just 5 tables of guests.Food was great although the plate was cold so my hot noodles got cold quickly. Could do with warming the plates for hot dishes.Staff were pleasant and attentive.

Such amazing food & attentive staff, best sushi I’ve had in Hertfordshire so HIGHLY recommend (the spicy ramen was also unbelievable!!). Cute surprise for my birthday too ;) I’ll definitely be back!!

Good portion sizes. Takoyaki did not have much octopus if any and noodles seem store bought.Staff was friendly and welcoming food did not taste

My family had a Sunday lunch at the Wakusei restaurant and were very impressed by the food we had. Sushi was excellent as well as takoyaki, tempura, gyoza, etc.The staff were also very helpful, definitely worth an other visit.

Best Tonkotsu ramen I’ve ever had - I was very very impressed. Got some Salmon Nigiri on the side to benchmark how authentic the chef was too and I was not disappointed - they were extremely skilled. You have to come here

Absolutely stunning! Came here this evening from out of the area and I can't wait to return. The food is delicious and the service is so friendly and welcoming. My friend and I shared starters: Edamame, Chicken Karaage, Gyoza and Takoyaki. All wonderful. She had the Teriyaki Salmon and I went for the Eel Donburi. Both dishes were superb, the Eel quite literally melted in the mouth. It was by far the best food I've had in the area and I highly recommend a visit (and the Takara plum wine!) Thank you for such a lovely evening.

second time eating here and i must say the food is delicious. Ordered the prawn tempura, kimchi and Spider sushi - this entire combo was extremely delicious. The Waiters are very attentive and very well mannered. would highly recommend this place especially as the food is Halal which is a massive bonus!! can’t wait to dine here again
