Visited today for Sunday lunch, and this was exceptional, I had the roast beef, which was cooked to perfection, fell apart like ham. The gravy was flavoursome and rich, lovely roast potatoes, the yorkshire puddings, need to be seen to be believed, go and see for yourself, cauliflower cheese was flavoursome and punchy. The brilliant team at The G&D put on an amazing evening last night. They looked after everyone so well. The food was plentiful and of great quality. The veggie option was the best I have ever tasted. The star of the night was obviously the very talented Pete Webb as Elvis who entertained everyone in great abundance. What’s a star! Thanks for a fantastic evening. We will return!

We pre booked a buffet for 20 people and we were not disappointed. The food was amazing and there was lots of choice and plenty for everyone. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our small party very comfortable . We would definitely recommend The George and Dragon for the excellent food and great customer service.
