I can't in all honesty mark this lower than a three. It's a very typical JD Wetterpants pub on the lower end of the whole J.D.W. scale.Quite a dark and dingy layout inside when you enter because of the tiny windows and the small seating areas that make up this very old building. Popped in just for a coffee one morning which was great value. Lighting was very dim especially around the self service coffee machine area. Table was not cleared from previous customers and once cleared wasn't wiped so very wet/sticky.
Luv this place use it when ever I’mIn hoddesdon . But was disappointed yesterday went in with my family my 2 Grandaughter s ordered a plain burger with cheese and chips . The lovely lady that served us came to the table to say sorry they dnt do cheese burgers so if we want cheese in them it’s another 3.40 what £1.70 for a slice of cheese that’s absolutely ridiculous and when the meal came there was half a dozen chips on the plate like a child’s meal .
