John, Callum and Sasha might actually be some of my favourite people.This is THE perfect pub to come to for a little countryside fare and chill.On at least a monthly basis I come up here to see my goddaughter and best friends - and we always end up at the Shep, because this is the best place around. Great pub, John and Callum always make you feel welcome. Some good music nights, nice pub garden. Tried the burgers today, they were lovely, homemade, fresh and served hot. Not one of those burgers that are so big you can’t eat it.

Agreed to meet a friend at this pub on a wet Saturday afternoon. It was quiet when I arrived but steadily built throughout the afternoon. Staff were friendly and modest range of good beers at standard prices. No blaring music was a plus for me although I did notice that pub quizzes and live music nights take place. I would certainly go there again and happy to recommend.
