A fab location and a perfect spot for lunch after a beautiful walk. The service was excellent as was the food, except for 2 dishes (the same) out of the 8 ordered which were very disappointing. However this was brilliantly dealt with and we will definitely all be back. Thank you!
Lovely setting and great layout and decor. Plenty of space between tables so not noisy and the staff were attentive, friendly and great.Food was the let down. Best was the wild boar pasty, the fish and chips and the mini desert with a hot drink is a great idea.Alas there were 5 of us and the other food options were either bland, overcooked or tough.

Lovely place in which to eat, drink and relax with friends and family. On a chilly miserable March day the woodburning stove was glowing, the food on the varied menu delicious, and attractively presented by friendly waiting staff. The tables are not crowded together and you are not 'rushed.' Veggie and vegan options available.
