What a stunning Hotel! We stayed here for my 50th Birthday weekend and it was truly beautiful! We stayed in the Master Suite ‘Holly’ and I just didn’t want to leave! The room is beautifully decorated throughout, the king size four poster bed is super comfy with 2 sets of French doors which lead out onto a beautiful balcony overlooking the grounds and lake, it is so peaceful apart from birdsong. Excellent place to stay in St Albans. Fantastic room and spa like bathroom. The staff were all very friendly and even had our room upgraded which was a nice surprise. We will definitely return when in the area next.

What a beautiful place! The manor feels like frozen in time with the old world charm coupled with modern amenities.It was a perfect getaway for us for the weekend! The lake was almost frozen in the morning but we still had a lovely walk.The breakfast was absolutely tasty and the view from the restaurant is some of the best you can get in the morning.We will definitely be back to this place.
