Our first time at Thompson and it more than stood up to it's reviews;From stepping in the door the staff were excellent and welcoming, the food, accompanying wine and explanations of what we were eating great and all well presented - I'll be back for the 7 courses next!I wish you continued success.
Absolutely wonderful evening with Amy at this fabulous restaurant! I had a challenge with local parking which the restaurant mgt helped me out with even before our evening began... The food is exceptional but the lunch menu needs a rethink. The tiny portions are fine for a tasting menu but not for a lunchtime a la carte. Wine prices are steep too. However we really enjoyed the meal as we enjoy a light lunch and every dish was full of flavour and beautifully presented. Best restaurant in the area in my view.
