Friendly traditional country pub with good value, good quality vegetarian-friendly food. Good for families, including well behaved dogs. Don't go if you like fancy décor. Lovely meal at The Dumb Bell. First time we've been and will return. It was quite a mixed menu at our table ranging from a roast, stews, vegan and even a full English.Catered well for a family who all like to eat different things especially as we ranged from 1 years to 101 years of age. What a lovely day. We came to the dumbell today for their Easter activity day. My daughter and her friends had the best time doing the easter egg hunt, decorating biscuits and easter crafts whilst the adults enjoyed some drinks and lunch (food was lovely) in the sun. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and couldn't do enough for you. Would highly recommend, we will be back for sure ?
