“I had a Christmas lunch at the Red Lion on Friday 20th December. We were a party of 36. The food was better than excellent. All the serving staff were extremely efficient, friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend the restaurant and pub highly enough. Both Martin and Judy make you very welcome and go that extra step.”

“Excellent welcoming freehouse just under 10 minutes (uphill) walk from Ware town centre. Pleasant suprise to see two Chantry beers on my visit, brewery is in Rotherham ?. The three real ales on offer change frequently I believe. It is in the 2025 CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Nice to sit outside the front of the pub with views to the surrounding countryside (if you look the right way). It's a haven of peace. They have lots of community events weekly if you live locally.”
