Excellent food (I'd have liked more veg with my lamb, mind), very good service, friendly staff. A bit pricey, but I think that's the way it is for hospitality that has survived the pandemic.
Just had dinner at a last minute descision. squeezed us in on a friday night. So glad they did as the meal was supurb. i had the calves liver and my partner had the beef brisket, both were top class. the food tasted amazing with lovely taste and flavours. All the staff from the bar to the restaurant were lovely, kind and very polite. We will deffo be back for more. We enjoyed a fantastic night at The Red Lion on Saturday night, great menu choice and the food was amazing, very tasty and good portion size, the staff were very attentive without being intrusive, we ordered a bottle of the house red wine which was really nice and the desserts were delicious. Highly recommended and reasonably priced. We will definitely book again.
