What great service and absolutely spot on food. First Christmas dinner of the year. Staff really care that we enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend to everybody. Well done Chieftan. Gold star.
To be honest, I gave most of the five points because there is a wooden leg in the window. I love the idea that someone came in, got so drunk that they forgot that they had come in with a wooden leg and just hopped home – leaving the landlord to display it in the window like something out of Bagpuss. This may not be what actually happened, I just wish it was. I would probably have given two or three stars for my actual experience. The car park was too small and completely full....read full review
