We wandered past this little streetfront place almost passing it up as a tearoom. Then we noticed the menu on the door and immediately went to book an evening table. Paul seems to run it almost single-handed with a talented chef out the back. Booking is recommended for an inside table, but there is more seating outside. We walked past Framptons the other day and saw the Sunday menu, so as it looked very enticing we booked online. We live not far away in by Nettlestone. My wife had a small leg of lamb and I had the pork belly. A very good English roast , couldn’t fault it! We will spread the word and recommend “Framptons “

We've had a couple of very nice visits here recently, though we felt we were skating on thin ice, slightly! The trouble is the front area is open to the street, and it looks really inviting when going past in the late afternoon - perfect for a cuppa or cold drink. But the place is not really set up for that, so it can be a slightly uphill task to agree this kind of arrangement.
