There were 4 of us and 3 had the curries which they said were fab, one of our party has dairy allergy but they managed to give him a curry too. Really dog friendly, great food, fabulous staff and good beer. Nothing else is needed really

9 Foreland Rd, BembridgeShhhhhh. Don't tell everyone, I popped into Bsrbosa for a snoop to see what it was like . The staff were so welcoming but unfortunately had just eaten so decided to return today for drinks and tacos.
I was not disappointed. Different staff but equally as attentive. The tacos were cooked fresh, I had steak and cheese. The steak was I think fillit, and cooked perfectly, the cheese was not overwhelming (which can happen), and the rest of the filling carefully put together with lovely small sweet peppers as a top (I think) but beautifully complimenting the dish. My Dog was made welcome by the other customers, whi were as equally as cool as Borbisa. Thanks for a lovely evening and I will most definitely be back. The whole package is just right.

Frampton's
4 High St, BembridgeToday we had our first Sunday Roast at Framptons and what a delight it was. I opted for the Braised Beef and my husband had the Roast Belly Pork and Crackling. The meals came with all the usual trimmings ~ carrots, parsnips, roast potatoes, broccoli, cabbage, yorkshire pudding and gravy but the beef was definitely the star of the show for me. So tender and full of flavour! The portions were very generous. After a short breather we ordered dessert. We decided to have some American pancakes with berry compote and ice cream and we weren't disappointed. Very nice and very well presented. The staff were friendly with just the right level of attentiveness. The atmosphere was very relaxed and welcoming. I would recommend and we will definitely be back.

The Beach Hut Seafood Kitchen & Bar
Forelands Field Rd, BembridgeLovely setting for some lunch and the weather was fabulous! Some of the food was lovely but the cod goujons and the crab baguette where average! The service was a little haphazard but it made us laugh!

The Propeller Inn
Sandown Rd, BembridgeFlew in on Sunday, didn't have a booking. They were fully booked but still gave us a table and let us order food from the normal menu (Sunday roasts were all spoken for). Food and service were excellent.

The Harbour View Cafe
Embankment Rd, BembridgeHave been wanting to pop into the cafe for sometime now so we did the other morning,had a traditional breakfast and very impressed nothing greasy quality produce and not overcharged...fantastic views great service and nice atmosphere. Will definitely be going again. Loads of seating areas outside.I would highly recommend.

The Nab Bar
Unnamed Road, BembridgeSecond year running — a brilliant, dog-friendly break at Whitecliff Bay
Back for my second visit to Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park, and once again it was a cracking week away — made even better by how dog-friendly the whole place is. It’s one of the best spots I’ve found for bringing a four-legged friend: loads of open space, the beach is perfect for a paddle, and staff are genuinely welcoming to dogs, not just tolerant.
The outdoor pool is a standout — ideal for cooling off in the heat (though I didn’t apply enough suncream and paid the price!). The beach is a real treat too: Peaceful, and great for a walk with the dog morning or evening.
A massive shoutout to the Nab Bar, where I ended up most days. It’s the social heart of the park and brilliantly run — Nic and Katie in particular were exceptional. Their attention to detail, friendly service, and easygoing nature made the bar a proper highlight.
Most of the staff are attentive and clearly care about guests’ experience — human and canine alike. That said, Ryan, who I believe is the manager, let the side down. For the second year running, he was brusque, rude, and needlessly short with customers. It’s disappointing and completely at odds with the otherwise brilliant team. It’s clear nothing’s changed in the past 365 days.
That one blot aside, Whitecliff Bay remains one of the best dog-friendly holiday parks I’ve stayed at — great facilities, lovely location, and service (mostly) that goes the extra mile. We’ll be back — hopefully with a bit more suncream and a bit less Ryan.

The Crab and Lobster Inn
32 Forelands Field Rd, BembridgeWe stumbled on this lovely Pub/Inn. From the very first “welcome “ when we arrived around midday I knew it was somewhere I wanted to come back to. Bruce greeted us with a warm welcome and asked if we were jointing them and said our dogs were welcome. The smell of the Inn was so warming. It smelt cozy (of Thats a thing) .We were only having a drink outside in the sunshine but decided to return in the evening for a meal.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We arrived in the evening and again Bruce had a warm welcome waiting for what felt like jusy for us . The ambience was lovely. We were seated in a busy area and when I asked Bruce if we could move to a quieter area he was only too happy to oblige. As I am going through chemo (he noticed the hair and signs) he said he would try to keep the area less busy which was really very sweet.
The food was delicious and very fresh. All in all we would highly recommend a visit and we will be back the next time we visit the Island. P.s they even have a dog menu ❤️

Lu Shan Chinese Restaurant
Sherborne St, BembridgeI have to wax lyrical about this fabulous Chinese food again. We have sadly moved from Bembridge back to the mainland but come back regularly to visit my mum. The must do each visit is to order a takeaway. It is such a treat, so fresh, so tasty, so delicious. Thank you Lu Shan once more. I highly recommend the chisken with ginger and spring onion, rice noodle special and crispy chilli beef. See you next time.

Regal Fish & Chips
11 Foreland Rd, BembridgePopped in when passing at lunchtime. 2 adults and 2 children. Simply ordered a cone of chips each which were expertly cooked and wrapped. Very friendly chap serving who even offered to fill up our water bottles free - nice gesture.
Ok, it's a little dated but a nice friendly place serving good food and a reasonable price. Would recommend.
