Tasty hot chocolate & carrot/walnut cake on a blustery Sunday morning. Lovely outside seating area with views across the the sea and I was made to feel very welcome. It was nice to find it open despite it being November.
Absolutely fabulous place to visit for meal, for coffee and cake or just to meet the lovely people for a chat. They have a very varied menu from wonderful breakfasts, main meals, yummy desserts, sarnies, jackets and much more. Licensed. Food all fresh. The two girls work so hard ING with their family. Situated right on beach between yarmouth and Fort Victoria. Stunning situation. Very very dog friendly inside and out. Lovely light fire this time of year. Very prompt efficient...read full review

Great seaside location , good food and dog freindly.Since writing this review in June 2019 we have moved to the island and now visit The Boathouse as often as we can . Whether popping in for coffee and cake or a freshly prepared meal we (and our dogs) always receive a warm welcome and feel our custom is genuinely valued . I would add that Lisa and Hayley and the rest of the family extend the same hospitality to all customers ( and their dogs ) , not just us loyal regulars !
