Amazing find! This place serves great food! I went here for breakfast with my partner, and the lady at the counter was absolutely amazing. Accommodating and lovely. We didn't want mushrooms and she was more than happy to swap it for something else. Everything was well cooked and tasted amazing, would recommend to anyone!
This is the quintessential cafe experience. It is on Monkton Street a stones throw from the Esplanade. I had beef and bean chilli on jacket potato with a side salad. The chilli is made in store from scratch and was seasoned to perfection. Some heat but not overpowering. It was served piping hot and there was more than I could finish. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cafe is clean and cozy. Food is very good and a good selection for a good price. Mix of locals and visitors. Kids high chair available if needed. Had a Sunday beef roast dinner and was lovely. Good size portions tasted really good. Would go back again.
