We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner today. Unfortunately, by the time we ordered the roast beef had run out. However, that didn't overly matter with pork and chicken still available which we had and really enjoyed. This is the best plated roast dinner meal we've had out. In addition we really enjoyed the variety and quality of the desserts and mini dessert with hot drinks options - Biscoff Sundae, mini chocolate brownie and mini crumble.

Changed hands recently, and the new management Shona and Richard have really brought this place back to life for locals. The new works outside the pbu has put the gardens to better use, more live music regularly, and the new menus are much better with great bar snacks too.Great for the whole family!Oh and don't forget the last Thursday of the month, the best quiz! Book in advance as tables go fast and it's always packed out!
