Visited this establishment today and ordered a Jacket Potato with Tuna and Mayonaise.. Pretty nice little quaint shop in the high street and a variety of products to buy.. Prices seem very reasonable for what is on offer which is good and the jacket cost £3.20 to take away. I found however that despite a generous helping it seemed to be lacking a bit in taste.. Very dry potato.. So would possibly return to try once more but not guaranteed..
Homemade cakes sausage rolls the best ive tasted.Just like mother used to bake.Such a change from all the same things in all the other places.Sponges, to die for ,pastry yum! try the rock cakes, they melt in the mouth.If really hungry have a special Chunky sandwich real roast beef! To many good things GO AND TRY!!!!!The staff are great!!!!
The Carvery has moved now across the path to next to back of HSBC and now called The Tucked away take away. Same people same food which is very good, filling and best sandwich shop in town.
