Having seen varying reviews, I took the plunge and went at tea time (rush hour) mid-week; and I was pleasantly suprised. There were two male staff on duty, very attentive, polite; and good at their jobs. I had the beef strogonoff that comes with rice and salad, it was well cooked, hot, well presented; and tasty. Service was great! Food was delicious and had lots of flavour… interior is cool and toilets are clean. Great experience all round!Kid-friendliness: The staff were so lovely and playful with our 2 year old and even smiled at her when she couldn’t sit still and had a mad 2 minutes running around

Cheap and cheerful food, fast service and staff are friendly enough. Have stopped here a few times and it's always busy. Mickey's is better than a lot of roadside diners, so I'd chose this place over others any day.
