We came to the pub to see a band that was playing in the evening, we decided to get there lunch time and have some lunch and a few drinks before the band played. The food was really good and the service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. We spent the afternoon in the pub and was served both by Jane and Michelle, who were both very pleasant and helpful and we really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back!
Only live down the road from this pub and Iv been missing out! We sat outside, watched some people tidy up after a bootfair, then watched a band setup. Lots going on in the evenings, clean, nice selection of beers, food looked lush. Will be returning to eat soon. Parkings limited but has a car park opposite, or can park on the Main Street. Would recommend

Popped in on spec on the way home from Deal. What a lovely pub. Excellent food and very friendly helpful staff. The secluded garden is quirky and huge. Must be great when there's a band on. Will certainly come again.
