We came to Chapmans for Lunch on Friday it was fantastic, the food was divine and the owner Byron was serving us.We had the Goan prawns followed by the steak with macaroni and prawn which was a fantastic combination and dessert was the sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee. Byron helped us with our choice of wine which matched perfectly and was the perfect host, we will definitely be coming back and also going to his pub the Tyler's kiln.I would definitely recommend Chapmans...read full review
On this birthday lunch occasion, the service was a little flat, perhaps because we were the only people in the restaurant; however it could have been better as the waitress did not seem busy at all. The food was nice enough from the lunch menu which 2 of us chose from. We also ordered from the main menu and starters etc. Our previous visit was in the evening and it was to celebrate passing another year of uni. LOVE this place, though last night it was Very quiet. I can’t understand why?! Anchovies then a couple of oysters to start for me, king prawn with curry mayo followed by half lobster for my wife and sea bass with ravioli for me, the sticky toffee pudding. Every mouthful was absolutely delicious!
