My Mum and I had a table booked last weekend for lunch, we turned up a little early as we wanted to beat the lunchtime rush. Needs a refurbishment with sticky floors and tables, tired decor/signs of damp/leaks on ceilings. Lovely location on the beach at Deal. Menu was OK but the food was nice. Overall, Shepherd Neame need to spend some money on the bar/restaurant area.
It is a popular place to eat with a sea view. The restaurant is situated within a short walk from the station. It is spacious with a big indoor area and a terrace to eat or drink outside. We were happy with our fish and chips and leek and mushroom risotto. The food was delicious and portions generous. We didn't have to wait longer than 20 minutes for our order and the staff were nice and professional.
