This was our first visit and we were suitably impressed. The cafe, itself, is in a superb position in gardens in which you can walk and one side of the cafe is in a beautiful panelled room; the billiard room. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely afternoon tea for a baby shower get together. Friendly and accommodating staff with excellent food in a beautiful charming character room with great views of the park.

The tea room is becoming a bit of a habit for us! Lol. The coffee and food is always good, so it's the seating in the billiard room. The only annoying thing is the length of the queue at the counter. It's always so long.
