Quite big for a micropub. More a modern bar/pub. Was there lunchtime and there were a few older locals sitting around chatting. There were 4 ales, I sampled 2 and they were in good condition. The guy behind the bar was helpful and informative. Apart from the ales there were 8 taps serving a variety of craft beers and lagers plus a fizzy cider. Still cider was also available. Initially I had some reservations about this place but decided after a while that it was excellent
Landed here (thanks to google reviews) after a walk from Folkestone. Genuinely friendly staff, greet beer, great ambience. Only sad that I don't have a place like this near me!

Love this place so much it's become my local!Staff are always lovely and welcoming. Whether I want a quiet drink whilst I read in a corner or a conversation, I always feel able and comfortable coming here alone
