I was fortunate today to be treated to a lovely lunch at The Lantern, by wonderful friends. The food was excellent, the staff were brilliant, Joe in particular was attentive, friendly and professional and the building is so historic, I was hoping the walls could actually talk ! Great atmosphere, roaring log fire, comfy and cosy in beautiful countryside, even on a wet, windy January day. A real olde worlde English country pub. Fab party at the Lantern last night! Thanks to all the staff for putting on a great night! I’d recommend this beautiful traditional country pub to all, whether it’s for food or just a drink, they’ve got it covered!!

Best pub I have been. Amazing place, cozy, great music and the food was fantastic. Joe looked after us incredibly well, how he managed to serve everyone by himself was beyond us. Please make a trip to this pub, you will not be disappointed.
