We came across this beautiful pub on a walk from the hop farm. Forgive me, for not remembering names, this place, the people that work here, provide a fantastic family atmosphere and service beyond ,and the most fabulous selection of food with excellent taste. Total value for money. We will most definitely be back here. Thank you.
Travelled down from s London, and was well worth the journey. Shame that the rain prevented us sitting outside watching the fish, but the meal was great. Friendly service just when needed, meal was huge but apart from some veg ( that went home in a tub) everything disappeared. We had a variety of roasts, the pork was scrumptious but the beef a bit chewy. The veg were cooked to perfection, and as for the pale ale and bitter, it’s no wonder CAMERA approved. Lovely find on a walk along the river; friendly, welcoming staff to my wife and I with our wet dog. Good food, served quickly, generous portions and decent value. Just mind your head!
