A popular place with a good reputation. This was our first visit here and we were sadly disappointed. The haddock was well cooked but the batter was too thick and somewhat more greasy than expected. (Just as if the cooking oil temperature was less high than needed). Lovely local fish and chip shop. Child friendly. Had fish and chips myself and my kids had the children’s menu. Clean restaurant area and toilets. Friendly and efficient staff. Weirdly they don’t accept cash here but there’s an ATM at the nearby Waitrose.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu includes drink and ice cream
