Homely and welcoming little gem inside the village of Oare, surrounded by beautiful country scenery. Varied menu serving home cooked delightful and tasty dishes. Staff, manager and locals made us very welcome. Clean and pleasant surroundings and tables well spaced out, so perfect for having that privacy and space when spending valuable time catching up with friends and family. Had a Christmas dinner here and it was absolutely delicious! I'm a really fussy eater (I'll eat pretty much anything but it had to be cooked right) and this was pretty much perfect! All three courses were great! Service was good, friendly and fast. My only little gripe was it was served in dishes to help yourself, something I detest but other than that 10 out of 10!

What a lovely pub. Locals all very friendly, bar staff very helpful and roast dinner fantastic. Even the dogs had a treat or two. For sure we will be dropping in when we are down that way again.
