Not been for a while so booked for Sunday lunch. Really good to see a pub that has not put its prices up to £20 for a main. Sunday roasts were priced at £12.50 so really great value. Staff were very friendly, dogs were welcome, food was really nice and the desserts were amazing!! Would highly recommend
A great pub in a lovely part of Kent. Well worth a visit.We popped in on a sunny Sunday afternoon and sat in the beer garden. There were plenty of benches, some in the sun and some in the shade. There was also a covered area and is both dog and child friendly.The inside had plenty of character, the bar staff were nice and offered to help carry some of the drinks for us and there was a good selection of Shepherd Neame beers. An old favourite pub of mine, stuck out in the middle of the glorious Kent countryside and yet very close to the A2/ M2 motorways.Some of the old original features of the pub have been retained whilst externally from the street there is little sign of the modernization that has happened in the last decades.This subtlety adds to the mysteque if you visit for the first time.Lovely pub food is served by friendly staff and the beer/ wine selection is good too.
