We stayed here as a family of 3 for two nights. We received a friendly and warm welcome up on arrival and were shown to our room. It was beautifully clean and had everything needed including towels, shower gel, kettle, coffee sachets, tea, milk and complimentary croissants. From the moment we arrived we were struck by how friendly all of the staff were ,from the lady that took us to our room,the lady who took our food order,the guy who cooked it( hope he enjoyed Trivium! - if you know you know lol) and the barman who poured a very special pint of Stella. The food was absolutely the business and set us up for the evening ahead . Stopped in for a drink and ended up ordering food too. Pate with toast and a side salad to start ( huge portion of very nice pate and a lovely salad ) followed by fish and chips with peas AND salad. Nice portion size, crispy batter, all very tasty. I'd eat there again
