“I had been wanting to visit here for a while and it did not disappoint. The ales and cider were excellent and it was great to try something different from all the generic offerings that can be found in Rainham. I really liked that you could hold a conversation without loud music, wall to wall wide screen TV's and mobile phones going off every second! The service was friendly. I will return and would not hesitate to recommend to others.”

“Popped in this evening for some food, was greeted by Matt and Owen from behind the bar... They were both very knowledgeable about the food menu and helped me accordingly.
Food was great and so was the service, both Matt and Owen were on the ball throughout my visit, cleaning tables and ensuring the place looked spotless!
Will definitely be returning soon.”

“Nice carvery, choice of 3 meats Turkey, Beef, Gammon - you could have 2 - £15. Kids meal they could choose 1 - £10. Choice of veg and 1 x Yorkshire pudding each. Plus some different offerings to taste, made by the chef - nice and spicy!
Staff were all nice.
Steps from pub to get up into the back room where restaurant and toilets are, not particularly wheelchair friendly. Also the clientele were on average aged 65+ and most of them struggled with the stairs and holding their drinks! I ended up helping a few of them.
Has a Pub garden but not used much, not very special. Bit rundown.
