Made a last minute booking for the same day and a table for four was made available. Wonderful atmosphere on arrival, Christmas decorations were outstanding. Made welcome at the door and , by agreement, all four of us had a superb meal, starter's, main, and sweet.Gents toilet had seen a lot of attention was spotless with novel metal plaques decorating the walls. Struggling to find somewhere to eat for the evening. We happened upon this little boozer in a country lane that should be more prominent in the local community. The service was welcoming polite friendly and helpful. The beer was outstanding. We had the cruzcampo as recommended by the staff. Now the food. We had one of the specials for the day and can HONESTLY say I have never had hunter chicken that was so dam good I cleaned the plate even my wife had nothing bad to say which...read full review

This is an awesome country pub, staff cannot do enough for you and always with a smile. Good food and beer and a reasonable price with the authentic country pub feel. Thak you for making our Xmas eve a special one. Clare and her staff are very welcoming. Visit, you won't regret it.
